I'm going to be moving my daughter to college and was thinking of renting a U-haul trailer. I was wondering wait my 92 GXE is raited to haul. Any tips/info would be great.

I wouldnt do it. You take the chance of tearing up the transmission unless you have a good cooler on it...then again I still wouldnt do it. Just rent a truck instead.

 

A regular uhaul trailer 4x6' or 6x8' should be fine, I pull a 20' sailboat with mine, which weighs about 1000lbs at the tongue with all of the gear in it. I dont think you will have any problems.

If it is an automatic, just take it out of overdrive until you get on the highway, and then when you get off.
