Cheapest source for oem manifold?

Im waiting for a response from Courtesy, and I got a quote from Conicelli or Partznet.com of 200. Has anyone out there who replaced theirs found a good source? I had the stealer do the rear one and now the front one is leaking! I think I can get to the front one myself and manage it as I just did the manifold on my 95 Tacoma successfully.

Thanks in advance for the help!

best bet would be getting one from someone who is parting out their car. Check out the parts for sale forum

Is the manifold cracked or is it leaking due to broken stud(s) and exhaust bypassing gasket? Haven't heard of the manifold cracking on these engines. OEM left manifold 14002-85E00 is $203 (list $267) at www.nissanparts.cc (left is closest to radiator, right?).

Broken studs are common on these engines. The front manifold studs can be replaced by removing the radiator and moving the air compressor out of the way (do not disconnect the hoses).

I have one broken stud on my 90 right now on the front manifold that I need to fix whenever I get the time. Will replace all six studs, of course.

If I'm not mistaken I have one. Let me check after it cools off outside.

I had the dealer do the rear one for me since I knew that at least one stud was broken. They said 3 of the six were out! I have also read an article on how the pathfinders with the VG have the same problem and the writer of the article said it was a flaw in the manifold design, that the manifold gets too hot, warps and or cracks and that pressure is what snaps the studs off. Im not sure if this is true or not. I need to take off the intake plumbing to see if I can tell if its a stud or two broken or if its a crack also in the manifold.

Also, any special tools and or tips in getting the broken studs out? Is it necessary to remove the radiator to do this also?

Thanks guys!
