Who knows for real...also if you fit a different size speaker in there than state that but also give the stock speaker size if you know it.
Thanks

It depends on if you have Bose or not. Check out www.crutchfield.com for sizing.
Just measured my stock non-Bose speakers from a 2k1, the speaker size is 6.25" but has a larger bracket that is closer to 6.75". The stock speakers are very shallow though. I have 6.75" MB Quart's in the back. Did not install them myself though(I hate dealing with car electronics.)Smaller 5.25" polk/Momo componets in front, smaller speaker because of larger magnet, they still fit under stock grille plates.
The Bose system has 6.75" speakers mounting into a 4-screw 6.75" hole I believe. If you ever see pics w/ the front door panels off, you'll notice a big white plastic bracket--the inside of that bracket is the actual 6.75" hole, thus you'll need to mount replacement speakers onto that white bracket. That white bracket is held on by 3 screws, and the diameter of the white bracket at the door frame is likely much larger than 6.75".
I used Pioneer 6.5" 3-way speakers with 6.75" oversized GM-style holes, but I needed to drill new holes in the plastic bracket at a slightly larger radius than the originals, as the Pioneer's 6.75" outer holes were slightly too far out for the Bose screw holes. It's in there securely though. Unfortunately I didn't take pics of the front doors with the panels off.
(which, come to think of it, I should post pics of what I did snapshot

first off you are ALL WRONG.
the front is a 6.5 inch speaker...with a tweeter in the a-pillar.
the rears are stock 5 1/4s...but if you take out the plastic adapter you can fit 6.5s all around EASILY.
the subwoofer is only a 6.5 inch.
i did this just a week or so ago...and i had to modify everything to fit in the "6.5 inch all around setup you said i could do"
which without new spacer rings to go around the woofer...it isnt happening.

I used the 6.5 all round.
However, I am no engineer but this is what I did
1. Remove speaker & bracket from door
2. Cut the existing speaker from the bracket
3. Screw the replacement speaker unto the bracket
4. Tighten bracket w/speaker unto door
5. You're all set.
Once you remove the door panel it will make it easy for you

I second, third or whatever the 6.5" all the way around for me. You could probably put 6.75" all the way around since you have to destroy the factory speaker, but 6.5" just to be safe and what's another .25" anyway.
