need 15 more HP for me to be happy.

Well when I got my car dynoed for the second time it reached 185.9 HP. My goal is to get up to 200 HP. My current setup is Injen CAI, Greddy EVO, and Cattman Y-pipe. I am looking at getting a Random Tech high flow cat but that's not going to give me enough. I also don't want to get the UDP because I got a stereo. Any help would be nice. Also I have an auto and don't plan on switching to a manual and not going to get NOS.

Greddy has a b-pipe with a resonator are you saying to get the stillen b-pipe. Does that one have a resonator. I am not boosting since I don't want to go through switching to a manual and that would cost around $5,000 just for the turbo or SC with a manual swap.

Hmmm. I'm not going to claim to be the expert here since I haven't made the jump to exhaust changes yet (that's after the rsb). I do belive that Cattman makes a good b pipe though. I've got it in the back of my mind that I want to get the Cattman B & Y pipes.

Get some super duper lightweight wheels. BTW, those Axis Hagens aren't going to help your cause.

Dont replace the Evo b-pipe, its fine... I doubt you would have problems with an UDP, but if you are worried about it, just get a lightened one that is stock size. A straight pipe would give you better gains than a hi flow cat, and I hear that RT is not a great cat, it falls apart really fast. Weight reduction can be just as good as HP, its just something to consider.

your problem to reach the 200hp mark is the automatic tranny

get a 2k2 6sp and spend money on it

i have an UDP with a system (350 watts RMS, ~800 peak) and i've had no problems blasting it since my UDP install. however, if you go up to like a 500 watt RMS system, then you might start having a few problems unless you have a capacitor. then you could get away with goin even a little higher with the wattage.

Your numbers are correct. You can see my dyno results on my Maxima site (http://www.desertpearlmax.homestead....amodspage.html)

Also MyownNismo, if you really wanted to get an underdrive pulley, you could also buy a smaller pulley for your alternator (which Unorthodox sells also). This way, you wouldn't see any charging problems due to the smaller crank pulley.

If you are honestly running octane booster, please just paypal me or paypal Kev the money instead. You wont get any power from it at all!!!!

http://forums.max-world.org/index.php?showtopic=1469 incase you were wondering.

UDP is worth some power, and what do you have in the way of a Cat?

get a valve body mod, its not going to "give" you hp but it may free up a little that the auto is losing, since it is less efficient than a 5spd tranny. oh yeah.. ts ecu when it comes out ... theres your 10 hp and some

I have the UDP and a 1000 watt RMS amp. AND YES MY LIGHTS DIM when I realy crank it. but I did get more low end response when I got it. Still have not dyno'd with the UDP and frankencar installed yet.

PS I also have an optima yello top and 2 1 farad caps on it to reduce the dimming. which hellped 80% I still have some dimming but not near as much.

Only when you consider removing the y-pipe pre cats. On the FED you can remove both on the CALI you can only remove one.

so a y pipe on a cali spec is a waste of money because you only get half the gains of a fed spec???

I too am looking at getting a warpspeed Y and Unorthodox UDP in December in hopes of breaking the 200hp plateau. I'm currently dynoing around 198hp. The only mods have are: Injen CAI, NGK Iridium Plugs, Redline 5w 30 oil, Custom 2.5" exhaust with Arospeed muffler (soon to be Powertech PT 1011), and my Pacesetter STS....

All 2000 Max come with 220+ HP stock, how did you get 185.9 ? Did you put a Honda VTec in your Max ?

He is talking at the wheels, his figure is roughly 15% drivetrain loss but with mods that's still good #s.....
