3rdGen Question from 4thGen Owner....

The lady that parks next to me in the garage has a '92 SE (auto) with 97k miles...she doesn't seem to know much about her car, but she claimed the engine is turbocharged. Is this right/possible?

Otherwise, the car is in condition...only parts replaced were the water pump & a speaker.

from the factory, NO. ask her to open the hood and show it to you...then look at how stupid she looks when she points to something like the alternator and says, "see I told you"

i will be a chauvanist and say, no, she is a woman who has no clue about jack ****. it would be utterly shocking if she was right, though.

Unless she paid a bunch of money to have a turbocharger fabricated for her car, she doesn't have one. She probably thinks it's turbocharged because it has the 190hp VE motor instead of the 160hp VG that came in the same year GXE. More than likely, some dunderhead salesman told her that when she bought the car.
