I'm particularly concerned with the hose that connects the bypass valve to the intake pipe - does it actually draw air from the intake/go both ways as I've heard it does?

 

No... it works essentially like a BOV... when it opens (during the high vacuum) it allows the pressurized air to return to the "intake".

 

I was overworked this week, especially after having messed (and screwed up) my car for two days after 72 hours in the office...

I confused this bypass valve with that on a roots-type sc'd car..

... in anycase, the car is fixed, and I gained about 2 psi

 

Was that before or after your dyno? If it was after, congrats If not. bleah!

I still say the dyno was screwed, but who cares.

I will make my final "good" runs on Nitto 555R's at the end of the month.. at least I hope they're good... and then it's Procharged 350Z time
