Make a 3d Model for NFS Underground

I saw this competition on a website where you have to design a car and the winning entry will be put into the Need For Speed: Underground.

I was thinking that someone could make a 3d model of a 3rd gen maxima. That way it will get a fair bit of recognition (both for the car and the Modeller who does it).

Check it out here

Yeh, I was making one a while ago, but I really suck at textures, and I couldn't get a really accurate picture of my maxima. I'll finis one day...

No offense, but I don't think they want an old 4 door sedan in an underground racing game.

I think JerryT made a really nice 3D model waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day! some of the old schoolers might remember that...it looked pretty nice, body kit, rims and all!

but I'm with jaguax, I really don't see them including a 3rd gen over some of the more obvious and popular choices out there.

Well if Craig Lieberman is judging I know him, and he has a soft spot for Maximas.

I made an ugly 3rd gen for NFS III about 2-3 years ago. I was hoping that someone would come up with a better design by now LOL.

maybe its just me but I was thinking someone(cuz i suck at programming) could make a little prog with a 3D 3RD gen so you can mod it up so you have visual of what you want your car to look like, or even to keep tabs of the stuff you want to fix/replace on it.

Here is the 3rd gen I made for NFS III. Keep in mind I didn't feel like reading through all the instructions so I made it quickly and cut some corners LOL. As far as the performance I made it as accurate as possible. It does understeer and with a manual tranny pulls mid 14s in the 1/4 with a 6.1 0-60. I also have a 2nd, 4th, 5th gens with various states of tune .
