Im seriously interested in the Frankencar intake...just wanted to know how well their customer service is and how fast they got their intake...btw Im only interested in getting the intake w/ the K&N filter..I know the APEXi filter is on backorder

cust. serv. is slow
and takes him a while to respond

if i were to do the intake thing over again, i would DEF. go with place racing

 

Months back when I ordered mine. It only took like a week to receive it.

Its great! I had it on my 2K SE and had great performance on the butt dyno. I have the JWT (basically the same) on my 2K2 and very pleased with it. Just get a different midpipe for it, I need one too.

 

expensive and no mid-pipe. larger surface area though.

 

do you really need the midpipe..if so which one will do?

 

stock one is not smooth. if you want to combo your intake, Frakencar is the only one that sells midpipe separately.

 

what do you mean by "not smooth"? was the install easy w/out the midpipe..I read somewhere that minor modification is needed?

 

I got my order from them within 2 days.


Those guys still have full time jobs aside from FCP. They're always busy but they will deliver the product.
