Holy crap. I had to delete all the replies. Geez people.

Anyhoo. I rev my VE 5-sp all the time. I also have the JWT ECU also. It moves limiter up 400-500rpm. This engine can take it IF:
1) it's in good shape now
2) IF it's properly maintained. If you don't take care of it, this engine(like 99.9999%) of all other engines, it won't take care of YOU. This engine REQUIRES REGULAR OIL CHANGES. NO IFS BUTS WHATEVERS ABOUT IT. Don't change the oil regularly and say bye-bye to the motor.

Don't discuss oil HERE. There is a fluids forum for that. BTW. I'M the only one deleting threads here that I know of. Any problems, PM me or we can discuss it in OT.

the rpm

my car hads 110k and i rev. the!@## out of it, i mess up my previus trans because the rpms will go so high that the gear oil would come out thrue the vent.hose drying out the trans. and eventually kill it wen it wen dry. espesially and top end 110 mph and above.
