6x9 Speakers problem
6x9 Speakers problem
My left speaker amp is making these scratchy noise. I think that it is blown or sumthin what should I do. Can i bypass the amp thing or what. Should I just run speaker wire from my radio straight to the speakers in the back.
Is this a Bose system??? If it is, bypassing the amp thing will get you no sound.
Two choices for you
1) Repair the amp.
2) Install a 2 chanel amp, and run the two rear speekers off of it. I've done it and I think it works better that the bose amp. Get a good amp, not some cheap junk.
Both options will cost you about the same in the long run.

I had the exact same problem. Last year I finally did something about it. I went to Tweeter and had them install all new speakers and a head unit and a CD changer. Best sound I've ever had in a car and much better than the original Bose.
