I recently added all the components listed in my sig to my bose system. one word... AMAZING.
Damn this thing is loud! and the sound quality.. beautiful!
It was a pretty complex install that included cutting most of the stock harness up and wiring into it but it is possible to add stuff to the bose system and bypass its amp and use the stock head. Ill pose pics and answer questions after work tomorrow..

2000MaximaSE,

Is your homepage in your profile supposed to be the jewel website homepage? I went looking for the wood dash you have in your sig...

BOSE

I'M INTERESTED IN PUTTING A BOX IN THE TRUNK, AND NOT SURE BUT THINK I WANT MY BOSE SUB TO SHUT OFF WHEN THE BOX IN THE TRUNK GOES ON. WHAT DO YOU THINK? LET ME KNOW ON THE DETAILS, WHAT WIRE TO HOOK IT UP TO AT THE AMP ON THE BACK BOSE. OH AND THRU WHERE DID YOU RUN THE WIRE FROM THE BATTERY THRU THE FIRE WALL TO INSIDE.

I dunno if we did this before but... PLEASE don't type in all caps. It makes it harder to read and is considered shouting. Thanks

IT was easy but very time consuming. I did a full rewire so it was harder but if your just doing the sub it should be easy as hell. Only wire u have to run is your power wire. I just drilled thru the firewall where the clutch goes (i have an auto) and ran the wire under the door things. Get in your trunk and look at the sub. The sub is powered so there is already power, a signal, and switch wire going to it. Disconnect te brown harness coming out of the sub. It the only one with a bundle of tape covered wires coming out. Strip back the tape and you should see a thick black wire, thick red wire, small green wire and a small black and a white wire. The small black and white wires are the signal. The green wire is the remote turn on wire and the thick black and red wires are negative and positve power. All you will need is the neg. Cut the wires and add your own wires and run them to your amp and your set. Very easy.

What size speakers?

WHat size speakers did you use for the rear doors?

BTW: Can you please give us more details of the tinted corner signals?

Thanks
