I really hope none of you guys or gals have a problem with your thermostat because if you do, you're in for a big surprise!!
The supercharger has to be unbolted and the air ducts removed so you can get to the thermostat!
Ain't that a *****?? If you're not a do it yourselfer, it could cost you $350.00 or more for a new $12.00 thermostat.
I called stillen and talked to John in R&D and he said "sometimes that's the price you pay for high performance parts. Hahaha.

 

Thats carzy, maybe I should have bought a turbo car.

 

What is the expected life span of the Maxima's thermostat?

 

So far mine has 107,000 miles on it, and my car runs about 187 degrees year round

Hi Don,

I thought the thermostat should be changed every 4-5 years, maybe not. When I get my pulley changed to a 3.3 I'll have them change it for good housekeeping.
