damnit, cracked a fog...

I was wondering why I didnt see the reflection from my passenger side fog light on the back of car in front of me.

anyway, since it's cracked, i'm guessing any bulb i put in there will just blow in a few days due to moisture and what not, right? and i'm also guessing that there's no real way to fix the fog light, so....bascially do i just have to pick up a new one?

Yup.

Get the foglight KIT from....$hit I can't remember the name now...some dealership in NY...you get 2 fogs, a stalk, relays, bolts, mounts for $160...most dealerships will charge you $180 for a single foglight. Deal of the century. I ordered it from that dealership because someone told me they had it for that price...I wonder if any dealership would have the same though if you ask for it.

I searched test.maxima.org and still can't fiond the name of that dealership.

BUT, I did see a couple posts saying that you can get them through courtesyparts.com. They said if you email them for a quote they'll tell you 176 but if you call they'll tell you like 200.

The same recently happened to me. My suggestion to you is that unless you REALLY like the OE look, you forget about those lamps. For less then $130 you can pick up any number of aftermarket foglamps which will perform better than the stock lamps.

I went for these
http://catalog.com/susq/hella/microde.htm
My plan is mount them in the original location, and use a mesh to fill in the surrounding gap.

endus, you're probably talking about Jerry Rome Nissan. I got mine from them for $167 shipped. But of course now, I only need one light, I don't need the harnesses, or the relay, or the stalk with the switch on it, so I was hoping there was somewhere I could find just the one light. Looks like I'll have to find someone who broke just their driver's side one and then we can work something out, so at least one of us is happy.

Does anyone have a write up on the aftermarket fog lamps angel eye? I am thinking of using the OEM switch of the aftermarket fog lamp. Thanks.

nah, i need the passenger side too. i was saying i could work something out with someone who needs the driver's side fog cause we could split a pair, or one person could sell their working one, and get a pair themselves. BUT since we both need the passenger side, we're both screwed
