Hey Everyone. I have tried numerous times to get the cat bolts off to install my shifter but with no prevail. I even went to Meineke to see if they can replace the bolts but they refused to do it for liability purposes.

My question to you all is has anyone installed thier shifter w/o removing the bolts from the cat. One member on the forum said that you can just remove the hangers and work around it. I need more input regarding installing it this way. Thanks guys.

 

yes. remove the heatshield and you can install the shifter.
