hey

it would probably be wise to set the agx to 4/8 for the front and rear respectively. you obviously don't want the rear sagging on the launch, so keep that as stiff as possible, plus you don't want the front end to raise - for that i say 4 because it is also adjustable for rebound (so i hear on this forum).

good luck at the track...the new rubber will definitely get you into the 14's

Dave B's Patented Shift Technique

Dev, im holding you to that prediction !! Im going to try the patented Dave B Shift Technique also.

1-2. 6500
2-3. 6100
3-4. 5800

If this doesnt work, then back to mine:

1-2. redline
2-3. redline

lol...! Also Im thinking about taking out the backseat. Would cut another 30 pounds. But then again, that seems like cheating.

i tried that shifting into 4th stuff last time...and my traps only peaked at 94mph (with ypipe)

last time i redlined every damn gear, and crossed the line in 3rd, my traps peaked 95mph (without ypipe)

next time i go...i stay in 3rd

You have been shifting at redline on each shift. That's a a big no no with the stock manifold. Although I think it should be more like 6500, 6200 6000.

Nothing at the track is cheating. Do what ever you can to run the best time you can. That's what it's all about.

Adjusting the settings on AGX shocks adjusts the rebound only, not the bump. It will make no difference whatsoever in your launch. I run the same time with them set on 1 as I do on 8.

hmm...i've heard otherwise, but don't own a set to back up my point.
i've heard that its adjustable for compression as well as rebound.

it probably doesn't affect you as much because you have stiff a$$ ground controls which already reduce weight transfer

aznsap, nealoc will have different shift points because he has a MEVI and JWT ECU which has a raised rev limiter to 7200.

without that, you cannot shift at the same points that he does.
