maxima naming scheme for geeks

thanks to kai on alt.autos.nissan.maxima for this one:

1981 - Maxima 1.0
1982 - Maxima 1.1
1983 - Maxima 1.2
1984 - Maxima 1.3

1985 - Maxima 2.0
1986 - Maxima 2.1
1987 - Maxima 2.2
1988 - Maxima 2.3

1989 - Maxima 3.0
1990 - Maxima 3.1
1991 - Maxima 3.2
1992 - Maxima 3.3
1993 - Maxima 3.4
1994 - Maxima 3.5

1995-99 - Maxima 95

2000-03 - Maxima 2000

2004 - Altima++

Here we go

Because 3rd gens are so crappy, they had to keep messing with them to get them right, they finally got them right in 95

You guys are all nuts. This naming scheme doesn't work because most people don't crash their maxima's every day.

at least this thread is unique. very geek, too. i kind of like it. and i kind of think it is gay. but it is entertaining. it is a break from more serious technical threads about wiring harnesses, fuel pumps and duty cycles.
