Alignment after installing springs and struts?
Alignment after installing springs and struts?
I am putting on progress and gr2 this monday or tuesday and I am leaving for school a 250 mile drive with the max loaded down on friday... When should I get an alignment? after the springs have settled? or the day I do it? I dont think it would be a good idea to drive to school with out having it aligned...

Do it ASAP, don't wait. Good springs don't really settle, thats more myth then truth.
Do you think Nissan or any other automotive mfg. waits 2 weeks to align every new car they make?
When you lower your car, the toe goes way out. Have it set up the next day and you should be just fine. When front end shops do suspension work, they don't tell their customers to come back in two weeks to have their car aligned, it's done the same time the car is setup. Some people like to wait a week to make sure everything is OK and thats fine too. But with a trip coming up, have your car tracking properly so it drives correctly and you don't scrub up a set of tires.
EDIT: The only spring I've ever seen settle are Maxspeeds. Then again, what do you expect for 80 bucks.
