Use drop resistor mod?

I did the drop resistor mod and i have a haynes tranny cooler. I was wondering if i should use this in the 1/4 mile. Too much strain maybe . Thanks for any help.

It's actually better for your transmission to unplug the sensor and it will make your car quicker in the ¼ if you leave it in Drive.
