I hope budget exhaust is better than their servise, i dont fell like explainin it but it was impossible to reach anyone for a tracking number and shipping took 3 weeks and my boys y-pipe didn't come and they told me to wait another week. but as long as the exhaust turns out good ill be happy. hear are a couple quick pics of high-flow cat and resonated b-pipe.





And yes it will probubly be to loud with the universal muffler and y-pipe so i got a 2k2 muffler chillin in the basement waiting to get put on also.

 

***UPDATE***

buget b-pipe and high flow cat are now put on, it is loud as hell . It sound slightly raspy at downshift and at like 5 k but it sounds so nice, almost like a race car or something. ill post a vid as soon as i get a chance. I didnt realy put it to the real test cause its raining but the car does fell slighly more powerful.

 

Dang it... it took you 3 weeks to get them? I placed my order end of last week, and I was expecting it to get here by end of next week...

Are they back-ordered? Jody (who I placed my order with) made it sounded like they start the fabrication process once the order is put in...

 

is the b pipe you got resonated? if so, i guess the non resonated would be even louder huh.

Hmm, something wrong with that sentence there. It would sound LOUDER with a resonator?!? Hell no, it would sound alot quieter and it would reduce the raspy-ness you experience...

I *think* resonator takes out the drone that occurs ~2k rpm, more than anything... I would think the b-pipe, either resonated or not, would produce louder exhaust note.

On the other note, just got delivery of my Budget Y (10 days from the order date!).

 

Ya i was tired when i wrote the other post, my b-pipe *is* resonated.



And im still madd at budget cause my boys y-pipe didnt come yet and it was all orderd at the same time.

i dont think the resonater would make much of a sound differance exept the non resonated one would sound sound more rasspy and ricy. over all im glad with the product.
