Alot of Shaking...30-40 mph = Nightmare...Alignment needed?

Just got the B&M Short Shifter installed. Started driving home and between 30 &40 MPH, and the WHOLE car started rattling. Noise coming from the whole right side. Once I hit 45-60MPH it stopped. Then, it would rattel hard from 65 MPH on...I put 18" rims on 1 month ago and had the drop a bunch a months ago.

It can't be the ss shifter, it's most likely the alignemnt I never received after the drop a couple months ago? Any other suggestions?

When I got my alignment the guy said it won't get rid of any rattles. My car still shakes like a **** ever since I got my rims put on. You need to torque them to the right spec, overtightening them will cause them to shake, as will undertighening. I know you got new rims, so this might be the case.

Alignments don't fix or cause vibrations.

Have your wheels balanced.

If you have aftermarket rims and don't have hubcentric rings, you might have a wheel not on correctly. Loosen the lug nuts with the wheel off the ground and slowly tighten them up, making sure the wheel is centered on the lugs and the hub.

A bent rim can cause those problems.
