wanted to know i have a 89 max SE and I live in the jungle of NYC with all kinds of pollution floating around in the air!!! I park my car outside on the street so, I have been using Meguairs quick detail spray as a quick touch up in between washes. Is there pros and cons to doing this? Like pollutants that have set on the paint overnight and would be better to wash the car instead of misting with spray and wipping off, chancing the possibilities of putting swirls in the paint!!!???

I never quick detail without using the duster first anymore - it's just so much better. If in doubt, don't touch it and just wait till you can wash it. HTH

 

I only use the quik-detail spray the day I wash my car or at the longest the day after.
