There are two panels on each side of the lower center console where your feet are. They pop off and you'll see the ECU. Goodluck, it's in a tight space.

remove the ECU with the mounting bracket, it is much easier that way. Then take the mounting bracket off.

ok, we're all done, it took like 3-4 hours...omg, it is such a pain in the *** to get it out. we couldn't get it put back in, the front slot/tab thing blaaaaahhhhh i don't wanna talk about it.

it was a pain, it's in good enough where itwon't move, but ******* i hope i never mess with it again.

car feels pretty good, i ordered it with the 7200 redline, and the fuelcut hits at a tach-indicated 7400-7500. midrange is strong

now wheres my mevi

I'd hate to see how max accelerates, or doesn't, at 7K rpm w/o an MEVI, it must make just an awful noise.

Damn, some of these tachs must really be off more than others. I've got the 7000rpm limiter and I hit fuel cut at an indicated 7100rpms in every gear.

It took me about 2 hours to get my stock ECU out. And for that very reason my JWT ECU sits hidden under my front passenger floormat instead of back where it belongs.
