Suggestions to mount ballast for HID headlamp?

Got a box of goodies waiting for me at home thanks to Freddie.

I haven't looked under the hood yet but I figure, it'll be good to get some input on what other .orgers have done.

Where do you mount your ballast?
How do you attach it?
Do you wrap it in a ziploc bag, etc to keep it dry?
If you do wrap it, does it build up heat and would you be better off keeping it unwrapped?

Anything else, feel free to mention it. If you have pics showing your ballast location, do tell. I tried a search but after going through numerous posts, I gave up.

Thanks

Under the headlight huh? I must say that it's a great location but how did you ever secure the ballast (do you also have an igniter, or is it one-piece) to the body?

I ended up;
Left side: ballast between air cleaner and hoodledge, in front of strut tower, behind fusible link box. Igniter ziptied to harness in front of fusible link box.

Right side: ballast between relay box and hoodledge. Ballast ziptied to harness in front of washer fluid tube.

Mmmmm, 8600k ... thanks Freddie.

Did you guys wrap yours in anything. Would it do any harm to have them wraped just in case. Aslo any other suggestion on how to mount them.
