OPP's I can't freakin spell.....
I want to know what the maximum size tire I can put on My 99 Maxima. It has H&R springs w/ Tockiko shocks and struts. Will I be able to go 235-45zr17's???

Thanks..

235 is fine as long as the the width of the rim is at least 8.0 or else it's going to bubble over if you know what I mean.

you can fit 235mm on a 7.5", but don't go any wider. 8" is optimal to allow the beads to align properly.

You can fit 17s easy. Stillen was puttin 19s on a Max but they had minimal probs. I know of a lot of people with 18s and they say they fit fine. The only thing to think about is acceleration loss. If you get bigger rims, you won't accelerate as fast as with the stock.

I would recommend against rims larger than 17". The performance benefits are negligible and the ride will deteriorate considerably.

I remember when I installed my 17's. The ride USED to be so smooth with the stock 15's. Now it completely sucks. The performance benefit was worth it, but just barely.
