Will 18x8.5 rub if car is lowered?
I am buying Gianelle 10-flush wheels. I was thinking of getting the 18x8.5. The wheel shop said to get the 18x7.5 because the 8.5s will rub if I lower my car. Is this true? I never heard of any rubbing with any 18s. So should I get the 7.5s or the 8.5s?
By the way, what do you guys think of the wheels?

18x8.5 will fit as long as the offset is ok. I have 18x8.5 +40mm wheels and no rubbing. ASU174 I think has 37 or 38mm offsets (asu174-correct me if i'm wrong here). +40mm still have some space in the back, but they sit pretty flush with the fender in the front. So i think you just need to be careful with the offset and +38-40 and u should be fine. btw those wheels are nice!!! good luck
