Today on the highway, i saw 3 cars coming by, eclipse, celica, and tt...afterwards, a 300zx and g35 coupe came too. First of all, the celica hit it, then we all hit it with him. I was chasing TT and celica at first, not a problem, then the tough one came because i needed to pass G35 coupe first to chase 300zx. I barely passed him when we shut it down at 115mph. I was totally surprised about the newest eclipse, he must mod a turbo under his hood, because he smoked all of us. Second is 300zx, third I would say G35, and i am at forth. This is the biggest race i had in my life!!

 

i am pretty sure if you had a 6sp, you would be 3rd

ohh gawd if he had 6 speed he woulda won. what is auto cryptonite?? whenever someone races, you woulda won if you had a 6 speed. autos can hold it down too. anyway good race man!!!

 

I got to race a 300ZX at the track (twice) last time I went. I beat him both times too.... but he had awful launches. He trapped around 99 MPH, so those things definatly have better top end than the Maxima (unless he was modded... dont think he was) Always fun to go up against similar cars tho huh?

 

i think that 300zx got turbo too!! He was fast when he hit it. But that G35 coupe was kind of slow when it hit, i guess beacause of the weight eventho he had 280hp.

 

I really really REALLY don't believe that the G35 has 280 horsepower. Nissan just lied AS USUAL.

What Gen of eclipse was it? Like mine(2G) or the 2k+ Gen. If it's the 2K+ it's very doubtful he had a turbo kit, there are a few companies that tried with them. But they kept blowing up clutches. This is not to say someone didn't make a custom kit though. He probably had a nitrous. But if it was like mine, then there are many possibilites for the mods he has.
