HELP - attacked by a cement truck

I guess no long story is required here. I have 'blobs' of cement stuck to the paint of my 2000 Max SE. Does anybody have a clue how I can get rid of them without destroying the finish?
I messed with it a little but I created one really nice mark in the clear coat so I immediately stopped.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Cement eh? Your not going to like the solution...it is going to take you a good whole day. I used to work at a detail shop, and we used a bug sponge, and vinegar. Just soak the bug sponge with vinegar, and start going over the cement. It normally took us about 6-8 hours to get off all the cement without scratching the paint...make sure you wax afterwards!!
They use hydrochloric acid to clean off cement. You don't want to use that stuff on your paint for sure! Vinegar is weak enough not to damage anything but may dissolve the cement, albeit very slowly. Call your insurance and see what they say.

Thanks for your help!
Hey... Done deal now (didn't take too long - a couple hours). I appreciate your support. There are two spots where I accidently scratched the clear coat/paint. But other than that it worked as you suggested.
Have a great one,
