paradox systems sells side mirror covers which have the LED turn signals but some ppl have complained that they really arent a perfect fit on the 5th gens.

Yeah, I have them. They were designed for the 4th gens but do fit the 5th gens. They are not a perfect fit.

Yup, I wouldn't get those mirror covers either...

I'd love to see if there was a set of mirrors we could retrofit onto our car that had built-in LEDs, heated, and electric folding too...

I liked the way they looked. The only thing is they light up with amber leds. It would look HOT with hyperwhites. But you can take it off and solder leds on it. I just never tried/had the time...

Easy to install.. Just time consumming..

I think their is about 12-16 led's, they are really bright. They are brighter than the ones that come on the Benz and the TSX. I personally like them, the fitment is not perfect but you can barely tell until you get close on them. I recommend you get some X-pel paint protector for the covers, the rock ships will ruin the paint job.

how do you hook up the wires to make the signal work? Is that hard to do?

All you have to do is run the ground wire to your chassis with a screw. And the "+" to the "+" on the turn signal.. Just make sure none of your wires are broken or snipped when you fold the mirrors because it'll cause a short and you'll keep blowing fuses..
