89 supra vs. 95 maxima

this guy keeps talkin shiet about maxima. he drives an automagic 89 supra non-turbo with intake and magnaflow catback. i'm 95 GXE auto with CAI, y-pipe, test pipe, and muffler. u guys think i can take him?

p.s. who the f*ck makes automatic non-turbo "supra" these days!?!?!? hella disgraceful to the toyotas and supras....

I would honestly be surprised if he's even in the 15's. MKIII supra turbo 5-speeds run mid-15's. That should give you an idea of how you'll do.

Ah yes, it's the classic ricer-level ignorant smack talking. It doesn't matter if your car weighs hundreds of pounds more, and has very little torque. If Car A has more peak horsepower than Car B, Car A will most definitely win regardless of anything else no matter how relevant.


Take it to the track and smoke him. Better yet, put some money on it. Based on those specs, he would be running mid-16's probably.


No disrespect to the Supra, though. Back in 1989 those were pretty freakin good specs for only a 3.0L I-6.
