I was talking to SeximaGTR about impellers and recalled an old PM Matt had sent me. In the PM, I was asking him (matt) about swapping a mustang impeller into the Vortech V1/V2 blower for faster spooling boost. Here's the first part of his reply:

So it took a little longer to convert him .... but the force will be stong in this one! Don't worry there are more big guns switching over ... and soon! Muhahahahaha! See what you have done Kev? I have never known so many people that have gotten BB turbos only Mardi is trying something different. You have started a trend! I wanna go home and fix my car and put on the GT ... it's been months!

 

Yes Yes Yes, I changed my mind. However if Doug wouldnt have cut me a great deal I would not have done it. Come on my car was fast with the SC. But the SC could give me no more boost unless I spent the $1700 for a T trim, also AWIC project was going to be ~$1100. The motor I am building will take more power than the V1 SC will dish out even with the AWIC, so it was easy math for me. Im not going to bash the SC, its a great product, that I just out grew. A 60-1 should get me close to the max of a set of 550cc injectors. With the SC that would take a T trim + nitrous. It will be interesting to se the dyno numbers and track times... I cant wait!!!

Another reason is that I called up Vortech's tech support to see if they could tell me what a T-Trim could do for me. I filled out a long info sheet, sent copies of my dynos etc. They replied to me that I should stick with what I have on "that lil ole v6". F O K E R S!!!

 

ooooh believe me we will be bringing footage live, I am thinking about starting a Boosted club. Craig why is that man a trader? I mean sprintmax was the one that gave him a hell of a deal, I think that was a set up but look what Vortech wrote to him, F*ck vortech they dont want to take time to help him out the forget them. What only S2000's, Mustangs, Fbodys and Camaros are the only ones they think about , nothing against those cars because I know people that have them and they are nice folks is just the fact that they cant take time to just do a tad bit research which would have gone a long way, too late his bolting his kit.
