Overdrive Wiring for A/T Shift ****

I'm installing a RAZO A/T Shift **** into my 2000 SE, and I really don't see the point of hooking up those OD wires since I never use Overdrive anyway. Does anyone know if my transmission will function properly (in the default "OD ON" mode) if I leave the wires disconnected? Thanks!
