Best method for removing pen mark on leather

so someone that I gave a ride had a bic ballpoint pen in their back pocket and left a 3 inch ling mark on my tan leather seat. I tried lexol with no results then tried bug and tar remover for the heck of it and nope so then I used rubbing alcohol and got it out 95% and it also made the leather lighter where I rubbed. oh well at least its out BUT, just incase something like this happends again, what is the most prefered method for removing pen marks?

I've got the same thing. So far, all I've tried is the Meguiars Leather Gold (or whatever it's called). Didn't help. I'm not sure if it was here or another forum, where I read Baby Wipes does the trick. I haven't tried it though. Will post if I do.
