Transmissions???

My freind may being selling me his SuperCharger and I've heard of members blowing the transimissions. I just want to know what can I do to prevent this from accuring if I do???????

Tranny

If Automatic - Stay with stock SC pulley. Do the VB-mod. Get a transmission cooler.

If Manual - No smaller than 3.33 pulley. A new clutch is highly recommended.

If you drive it like you stole it it doesn't matter what tranny you have. Unless it;s bulletproof. You'll still blow it. Just don't go buck wilded every single day on the car.. But still beat it every now and then

Stock Pulley

I meant the pulley that comes STANDARD with the SC kit.
3.60" pulley which delivers 5-6psi boost.

I think Jer tried to say that the auto with vb/cooler can handle samller pulleys than 3.60 pulley. I know he has a 3.33 on his auto. He drives like a madman and he has 80+ timeslips on the same tranny.
