Difference between Bosch & OEM Platinum Plugs???

I know everyone is saying "NOT ANOTHER SPARK PLUG QEUSTION" but I've searched through the site and I haven't found what I'm looking for.

My question is what is the difference between the Bosh platinum plug (for about $1.80) vs the OEM platinum plug (around $12). My 01 SE has about 99k miles and I'm about to change the plugs, rotors, & pads myself before I take it in to have the t-belt & water pump changed. I know that the copper plugs are cheaper, but I drive about 35k per year and I don't want to change my plugs every year (call me lazy).

Thanks!

Our 5th gen Maxima does not use t-belt anymore. You don't have to change it at 100K.

Don't get the Bosch plugs. I tried those and the engine sounded good. But then soon after I started
having starting problems. I put the OE NGK back in and no problems.

Thanks for taking it easy on me Bsetiawan! I feel really @#$$%! stupid right now! Other than changing the plugs, filters, flush the radiator and brakes, what else should I do to my car?

You may want to change the alternator and power steering belts. And the PCV valve, too.

Yep! I have 99k on the orginal plugs. My gas mileage has been about the same since I bought the car new so I didn't want to mess with the plugs. The past two tanks of gas I've notice my mileage has dropped a little, but I'm doing more city driving and very little highway.

We're going to flush the trans and purge the old brake fluid. I should have noted that earlier. Thanks!

I'm on my 2nd set of Bosch Platinum +4 plugs, been running 'em for the last 65k on my gen 4 Max. Very smooth idle, no starting problems. Price is $5.99 ea. Didn't notice any off idle performance difference from stock.
