Post pics of painted tail lenses and the paint you used

I want to develop a simple how to with vids of how to paint your taillights for a full red circle. For those that have done the mod, I would like a picture of the taillights as well as the type of paint you used (pic of paint is welcome as well).

I've got a new digital camcorder and I am itching to use it.

I used Testors Transparent Candy Apple Paint for the lenses, and Krylon gloss black paint for the housing.

Using the Testor's paint, it only takes a couple of minutes at most.

You have to paint the amber piece from behind, where the turning signal bulb goes into the housing. A couple of thin coats of red paint later you have a completely red circle.

The pic that killeR2002SE posted is exactly what I am looking for. I want a closeup comparison of the top and bottom halves of the red circle. In the vid I will include these examples with descriptions of the paint used.

a little off topic...but i recently put together a detailed how-to on a related mod - tinting or smoking your taillights (painting the clear/chrome or red parts black - SE style).

thought some of you may find it useful as well. check out the link below for pics and directions:

We are at Ali's place all the time working on the Max's or doing something. I haven't been to a Maxima get together since October of last year. There's a lot of guys with 4th gens at NCSU (Matt Calder, ladeesman, Kingmax, etc..)

We need to have a little NC meet.

Back to topic. I am going to purchase that same paint as KilleR2002se and video tape everything. Fishhouse has some awesome pics on his site on how to remove the taillights.
