Ok, since this is only temp I can admit I'm almost in love with that new Altima mentioned on FreshAlloy.com

260hp and just slightly larger than today's Max!

For the next 24 hours I'm an Altima Fanatic!

"The big news is the V-6 option finally in the form of a VQ 3.0L (possibly 3.2L) engine good for over 240 hp. That's not a typo...yes two hundred forty horsepower - more than the 227 hp Maxima!" Impressive yes, but not 260. Also, this is not the section that won't be saved.

I doubt it will be larger then today's Max. We'll all see sooner or later though. Also, I think the new RX8 will be hotter then the Z from what I've seen so far!

Wrong.... It was officially announced and my resources already told me it is the 3.5L detuned to 240hp. It is easier to detune a engine than get the power out of the 3.0 which is already pushing alot for its size.

Actually it won't be larger than the 5th gen. It will be the same size as the 4th gen Maxima in interior volume. The 5th gen will still be bigger with a bigger hp #

So how much have you heard on the RX8. I've heard coming as a 2003 model. Seems nothing like the RX-01 seen in Japan though.

No, the RX8 will seat 4, have 2 regular size, and two front opening small back door, looks better then the Z so for (they could ugly it up though) and more then enough power to give it a run for its money. Word is it will be in the same price prange, quicker, and still hold 4 adults yet still look like a sport coupe. It will be the return of the rotor motor.
