i made my own clears buy opening them but i am starting to see a lot of pics of gen II tails i don't know if i should buy the (real red and clears) or gen II's help show some pics. Gen II's or clears????

Gen II's all the way, If they are to ricey for your taste paint them. They look beautiful at night. The red led circles are just eyecatching.

depends on color. Some colors you can get radical kits and lights. Black is a super sporty color. Atlezza's would look great on it, especially your car since you seem to be going for sporty look versus pimp look although rims are throwing me off. Colors like rosewood , pebble beige, silver mist, green need red/clears or they look awful

 

I think deep evergreen and black are the only colors that can pull off the genII altezzas, that said, I went with red/clears on my deep evergreen. I wanted my car to have subtle changes, but I did strongly consider the altezza's.

where did you get the red/clears or did you make them yourself cause I want to change my lights also.

 

you can get them at custommaxima.com if you have a 97-99...or you can make them yourself. for 95/96 you have to make them yourself. or somehow be the luckiest person in the world and find them on ebay.

 

i beg to differ, the gen 2's look very nice on a pebble beige maxima...........

 

i dont like altezzas in general, so im all for the red clears

yeah but i got a 1996 burgundy maxima and 1997-1999 lights wont fit because the trunk is different.

 

Go with the Red/Clears....Especially if your max is white....I love the way they look on mine....It makes the lines on the car flow much better.....

 

custommaxima says the 95-96 gen 2's are coming soon, so us 95/96 owners dont have 2 wait much longer

i like mine. i had the red clear tails and wanted something that not many people have. i am one a few by me to even have a max. hooked up that is. but i always saw red/clears...so i like to be different.
