Tint red part of taillight?

Tint red part of taillight?
The DTM just does the clear part of the taillight...has anyone done the same to the red part? I noticed some Jettas with the red and clear parts tinted. Pics? Thanks.

the DTM paints the part behind the lens, they dont pain the lens itself, so technically it is doing the entire light, red and clear parts all together, but it's not easily seen on the red parts

its a DIY mod....seems pretty easy but be prepared to set aside some time. heres the write up for it

i wonder how that would look ony my '97 jade mist maxima...i think thats' the color name...dark green but real glossy....which method is best for making good DIY red whites?
