i got some micro fiber towels from costo, like 10 in a pack for 8 bucks or so, they work great for getting dust and link and crap off the dash and consol, but even a towel would work... really its impossible for it to not get in there, because your always opening your door letting in crap etc etc, best thing to do is just keep wiping it down, thats it, all there is to it, hope that helps

yeppers...I keep a towel or two in the car for dusting every couple days (every little speck shows up on the black 4th gen interior), shake the mats off about once a week between vacuumings, and if I have to take some parts off for fixing/modding, I'll clean those too. Like, when I recovered my shifter, I took the whole console out and and cleaned it inside and out and took apart and cleaned all the related console bits too. Probably do something similar with the door panels when I get around to trim painting.

meguiars vinyl / rubber protectant, two coats, trust me two makes it better. it lasts for a while and is better than armor all. Meguiars is a silicon base, lasting longer vs. armor all, a water base which does not last long.

I use 303 to protect the vinyl, Lexol for the leather. I also keep a duster in the trunk and dust the dash (if neccessary) when I warm the car in the morning. I am thinking about buy the new Swiper...

I read a book on detailing from http://www.autopia-carcare.com (free download for most chapters). It recommended a damp cloth for periodic dusting... it works very well. Lexol for the leather for sure. Stay away from Armor all... it leaves a residue.

I first use the central vac we have in our house to get up all the dirt, dust, whatever out of there. Then I use industrial grade Windex on the dash, windows, chrome, and other smooth surfaces (never on the paint though). Then I use Formula 2001 to make everything all shiny. I love that stuff! As for dirty cloth floors, Resolve works well. But Formula is a wonderful thing.

I would not reccomed using any industial strength cleaners on any surface of my car.... For the interior try a swiffer cloth or microfiber followed by a good coat of leather conditioner or cleaner. I find that armorall su*ks because it attracts dust. Those wipes also get moldy if you keep them arond a long time. As for windows invisible glass is the best product. I also think that a good small power ac like the 1.5 hp model from sears comes in hand if you dont feel like dragging out a huge vaccum. They are like 40 bucks and they work great. Also get youself a nice set of heavy rubber mats that will keep all the dust and crap off your mats.
