AUTO PAINT JOB- 1/2 off Earl Schieb PRO 2 (free UV protection)

I just found this while browsing fatwallet (a deal site). Here a link and a bit more info:

http://www.earlscheib.com/default2.asp

Here's a quote from doctor3 on the 3rd page of the fatwallet site:

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/mess...hreadid=222795

"I just had my 2000 maxima repainted because of dents, scratches, and oh yeah, I had to replace the rear bumper due to fender bender... Wound up spending $1700 on the whole job. Was a bit hesitant initially, but I was referred to this shop in Flushing from one of my student who sends a lot of business over there.

Had to admit, the guy was quite honest about a lot of stuff and how people cut corner to just get the job done... He even tried to talk me out of repaint my entire car; he said that paint the bumper and he will blend in the surrounding area. Overall result was quite good. I had a quote from the dealer and they were asking for $3000. Chances are the dealer aren't doing the work themselves; they subcontract the work out to shop I went to..."

Thought this maybe of interest to some....

DON'T DO IT! I lived in Northern VA and you could tell the earlmobiles from the painted tires, mufflers and wheel wells. Be very careful. my .02
