03 Max New Grill Pics

Well this past week I did some modding to my Max. I got a new grill installed. Put on clear side markers. Installed polargs, and xenon hibeams. I have a Maxima emblem coming for the grill and also have the bug/stone deflector coming. Let me know what you think.
later,

Nice Ride,

Looks like the same grille that I have on my ride. The only advice that I have for you is that you add a clear coat on the grille. Had a problem of rusting after a while. Putting on a clear coat will save you on re-painting them later.

nice startup dude. the lower grille is nice, but i never felt the upper front bumper grille, it just looks weird to me. Yeah the clear sides are nice, bring out the smooth side of the max. Rear sway bar is a great mod to get next.

Do you have a pic of yours? Cuz I use my trunk all the time to it fullest potential and need just about every square inch. I was thinking of getting front strut tower next.....and eventually some shocks/springs to lower it a lil but more for handling as I take turns at 100mph.

I think you're thinking of the Rear Strut Tower Bar, which installs in the back of the trunk behind the seats... he was talking about the Rear Sway Bar, which attaches to the underside of the car, taking up zero trunk space.

I guess I would help if I read the whole sentence before replying.

I just think its too flat, maybe if it was curved and shaped it would look better. Nice looking Max though.

Indeed it is. Very easy install. Hardest part is getting the old one out.
That center screw proves to be quite the bugger when you don't have the right tools.

Grille

I have a trenz grille on my 03 max but would like to get the Diamond Style put in. Does anyone know where I can get one that fits right in? All I had to do was unscrew the bolts for the Nissan grille, pop a few clamps and then slide the trenz grille in, bolt it aand slide into clamps and it was done!! Does grille Tech do the same thing or any other grille?

The grill tech is installed by taking out the oem stock grill and zip tying
the grill tech in its place. Quite simple.

So, all that holds it in is Zip Ties. Its not made so you can use the exsisting clips and bolts?

Nope. Its only a flat grill. Nothing on the back.
I just put on my stone deflector. I think its looks better. I'll go get a pic in a minute. I also got the Maxima emblem was custommaxima.com but I should have gotten the carbon fiber not the silver. I'm gonna try and trade it back.

Who sells a diamond style grille that bubbles out. I don't like the flat kind and would really love a curved one with the Nissan emblem on it or at least one that I can attach a nissan emblem!!! Anyone know where I can get a nice curved diamond style grille at?

I got it off ebay. I think the grill is $50 but you can get the lower inserts and grill for $70. Shipping does take 2 weeks though as announced on their site.

I don't like the look of the deflector, but it's a great idea to save you from rock chips. The hood of my car is looking pretty bad b/c of all the chips. Check out what I did to my grill and let me know what you think. http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...955_2_full.jpg

Not bad. I did the same type of thing on my old car. I actually like the way the deflector looks plus I have atleast 5 stone chips on my hood already.
