OBX Cattback - Smacking Bumper

I have the OBX cattback and it smacks the bumper wherever I go...New York roads.

I wanted to see if anyone has suggestions on how to correct that, bodykits and cutting the bumper are not really an option.

A friend of mine decided that putting his foot inside the tail pipe and stepping it on it might work...smack.

Here's a link to some pics:

this sounds bad but i think that your best option is to call a local custom muffler shop and just ask what they think they could do. If they aer any good they should be able to fix this problem

yeah mine does the same thing. ny roads also. but i learned to live with it. the bumping of the exhaust tip doesn't do any damage so i'm not really concerned about it.

however, i AM concerned about how my damn exhaust sputters. when the car's all nice and warmed up, the exhaust pops and sputters as the rpm's drop.

if there's a way to fix THAT problem i would be SOOOOOO happy

You will get that with any decent free flowing exhaust.
