Injen + JWT?

After reading through multiple Injen and JWT intake posts, I still don't have quite the answer I'm looking for. Is there enough room under the battery, where the Injen filter sits, for a larger diameter JWT popcharger with velocity stack? From visual comparisons, it looks like the Injen filter is cylindrical and not as wide in diameter as the JWT pop which is cone shaped. Is there a few inches of clearance on all sides of the Injen filter for a JWT to fit?

Again this is all theory and I have no idea if a velocity stack will provide any benefit at all on a CAI. But, I already have a JWT and if I can work it together with the Injen I'd be .

Any additional thoughts or comments would also be greatly appreciated.

I think it will hit the plastic housing of the fan down there. You can definitely get one that is longer and skinnier. I found a K&N filter I think I am going to get that has an angled flange.

I have the injen on my 03 Max now. My Max is an auto, so theres an auto cable that sits next to the filter...not much clearance, I have about an inch of clearance from the cable. The other sides are clear...shouldn't be any problems there. Btw, the filter I got with my injen is cone shaped...

On my 6 speed, I am going to try and get the one pictured in the very bottom left of the picture with the angled flange.

I guess my question would be, What does putting a bigger filter on there do? Maybe an Apexi style filter I can understand but a K&N cone type is just a Supersize Injen filter, Am I correct?

Like I said, I'm theorizing, but the JWT/ Stillne popcharger have the large cone intake along with a "velocity stack", which sits inside the filter. According to JWT and Stillen the "velocity stack" creates a venturi effect thereby speeding more air into the throttlebody. Since I already have the JWT, if I can fit it on the Injen, theory dictates that the "velocity stack" will speed air into the Injen CAI.

Caveat - I have no actual information on this theory, and was just wondering if anyone had any useful information on the subject. Then again, if the JWT doesn't fit...

True, that would cause the air to be fed into throttle body faster.
