how much for the full exhaust, whats the material and does it have mandrel bends?

 

I bought the tranny after it was rebuilt, i think it was out of a 97. I was told that the synchros and shift forks were replaced. The 3" exhaust is all mandrel, it was custom made and is made of aluminized steel. It was then powdercoated with black high temp powder coat. With 3" muffler and RT cat. cost me about 8-900, how about 600 + shipping?

 

I am interested in the 3" exaust and i am also interested to know if you have your turbo manifold and what design it is. Get back to me. Thanks,

i am located in buffalo
for the max, to be honest, i dont even know what would be fair, i bought it for 12500 last year, plus paint, plus 18's that is like 16000, but i think i would be happy with 10,000. Is that reasonable? I dunno...

i am trying to decided how much would be fair for the turbo setup. It would include: Turbo, manifold/up-pipe, down pipe, WG piping, and IC piping. I spent about 1500-1600 on those parts, so i guess make an offer?

The trannys you got, are they LSD if so what the specs on them like mileage and what have you done to them besides what you mentioned above.

how about a brother that teaches you how to work on cars? but wait he takes auto technology classes already so hes just as mechanically inclined as I am if not more

as far as the motor, realize that is stripped down to a longblock, but i still have all the parts. I took it apart carefully and have everything in labeled bags, but i will not put it back together, because i dont feel like it, if you plan on doing internals, this would be an IDEAL engine.

 

on_alert what about the tranny, how much you want for them and is anyone of the an LSD? Would you been willing to ship it.

oh sorry dixit, forgot about your post, no neither are lsd, but if you got the quiafe i am selling that is WAY better than the factory LSD. MAybe i could cut you some slack if you got both...

 

Well it seems they people want the Quaife and that doesnt bother me. What would you want for the trannys then even though they are not LSD. Give me a price on each one.

It is out of a 95, about 100k miles

 

On alert, dont want to sound like im trying to be cheap or low ball, but 500shipped is a bit too much for that tranny at 100k miles on it. I also gotta check to see if that 95 fits my 5th gen. I know in 95 they changed something, if it was was a pre 10/95 or post 11/95 tranny.

Also was this tranny boosted on? If so how much and how hard? I just want to know if Im going to be looking into rebuilding this within 20k because of the mileage and stress it was put under.

im not really sure what its worth man, just shooting out a number to start with. tranny never saw boost, but i dont know when it was made.

is there a way to check the tranny code?

 

Well the only way to truly tell is through a VIN or the TrannyVIN which is usually on the car, the tranny itself has really nothing to identify itself with.

But maybe it may work, were you planning on installing this on a 96-99? or you have a 95?

Also you want me to post my offer here or in a PM, I dont want to publicly state my offer/deal if you dont want to do it that way.
