rear windsheild loose rattling sound.

is there any way to tighten or put re-inforce the rear windshield. i think its a little loose right now. i cut out a big hole in my rear deck and bass passes from the trunk out a 8x30 inch hole in the rear deck and hits the rear glass. recently at certain frequencies the glass rattles and its very noticable, what would be the best way to tighten it back up and prevent this problem from happening agian?

you sure the glass itself is rattling or the metal panel is making the noise? i don't think it's the glass itself. the hole you cut probably weakened that rear panel and causing it to vibrate easier when the bass hits. get some sound dampening material and put it under that rear deck.

im pretty sure its the glass, i have heard metal rattle and it sounds different, im also loosing bass due to the moving of the rear glass. like bass doesnt sound as strong because the rear glass is not solid as it used to be. i have had many systems in this car, this being the biggest and it gets pounded everyday. i really wouldnt be suppriesed if it is the glass, with a dd audio 9515 and 4 cubic foot ported box doesnt leave much room for sound to move but out the rear deck hole.
