Got back from Dragway ! Times, a video and who knows?

Heres the times I got:

1. 14.79 @ 93.12 mph 60' 2.25
2. 14.71 @ 93.01 mph 60' 2.22
3. 14.66 @ 93.21 mph 60' 2.18
4. 14.85 @ 93.32 mph 60' 2.30 (redlight)
5. 14.74 @ 93.15 mph 60' 2.20 (redlight)
6. 14.69 @ 93.71 mph 60' 2.24
7. 14.55 @ 94.15 mph 60' 2.17
8. 14.50 @ 94.60 mph 60' 2.18
9. 14.62 @ 94.39 mph 60' 2.20

I could be Maxed out at 14.50 ! Maybe a cold cold night might bump me down to a 14.49 but who knows? I plan to have the g force upgraded ecu by mid october so then im thinking my times will drop again.

Holla Back !

Nice times. Do you think that the Injen is helping over the Frankencar intake? It sure seems it is...

How did the other Maxima's do?

What happened to your trap speeds too? It looks like you're a solid 2mph slower.

other maximas:

cumalot: was whipping a honda civic in a good grudge match. from what i understand he used to have a supercharger and a bunch of other things that recently sold, so he wasnt used to running 15's again.

wope - has a stock 96 gxe and was in the mid 15's i think

h2kFrosty - 5th gen with turbo ran his best time of a 13.4 @ 108

daveauth21 - has 4th gen with supercharger or turbo and had some mechanical troubles and ran for the heck of it but didnt put up a good time. said he will be back in force !

after having both and considering what each bring to the table, im sticking with the injen. Is it the best intake ? I have no idea but the injen is working Great to me ! So im going to keep it on the chariot !

You know maybe im just getting more practice, but my numbers are better with the Injen so what can you say ?

At this point, what i need is consistency.. so now its time to work on that !

I think Wope was running low 16s. Only mod was an intake.

Best I could do was a 15.6 Mods were: hacked stock air box, ypipe, vb, and catback. I still have the Injen CAI. So I might put that back on and see if it improve my time.

just curious - what'd the SRT4 run for times?? a kid here at school has one, and I didnt get a chance to talk with him yet. Nice times for you BTW - interesting to see how much a difference the 60' times make in the end. Makes me want to race again this fall!!

This particular Neon is running 14.4 to 13.9 and trapping in the high 90's. He ran a 14.24 @ 97.55 mph against me.

i met h2kfrosty at the last NICO meet at beech bend dragway in KY. I think his best was a 13.9 that night. wonder if he got his afc working and had those bad welds fixed.

btw he drove all the way from louisiana that night his car was SOO hot. he never had a chance to run with the motor cooled down

way to go ceasar
