Hey guys lemme know ur opinions on my blk 2k Max(currently 2k2 tails) should I keep my 2k2 tails as seen on my sig pic or change to 2k SE tails......

I'd say go with the SE tails. I think these look better on the darker Max's and, of course, mine! The chrome tails on the darker max's just looks too flashy to me, IMHO. But, they do look good on the silver Max's!

 

I don't really care for my 2k2 tails I'd say since yours is a 2k stick with those.

 

how about those aftermarket clear ones? just paint the top section red so that part looks stock but otherwise will be perrrdy. just an idea...

I like the 2k2-2k3 on light color cars (like our Satin Blue and expecially the Sheer Silver and Titanium) and the 2k-2k1 SE tails on the dark colors. For yours I would say go with the 2k-2k1 SE tails. Nice ride!

You do realize that it's inevitable that this poll will come out to "2K SE", right?

Most people tend to be biased towards their own year/model. And since there are more 2k/2k1 owners than 2k2/2k3, you're results will heavily favor the 2k SE choice.

I personally don't like either of the 2k/2k1 style tails, red or "smoked". I always thought they were ugly even back when I was still driving my Corolla.

But then again I have a 2k3, so I'm just proving my point about the bias.

I agree with MaxNYC though, whatever you like!

 

i have 2k SE tails on my 02... i think they blend in better on a black max... and not to mention the sleeper part of it

a lot of people that are into cars know that they changed the tails with the 3.5 on the maxima... ive had people pull up to me after i beat them with a surprised look asking what year it was.. i guess theyre used to beating automatic 2000's lol

I have 2k2s on my 2k, the SE's would look better on your ride becasue of it being black. The chrome ones look better on lighter cars.
