I was bored... so I counted my timeslips for my Maxima... 194.

One hundred and ninety four timeslips in my little file folder for my Maxima. Also I know a few that blew out the window once on the way home from the strip, and I'm sure I've lost SOME along the way, so lets call it 200 timeslips shall we?

I've come a long way from my first pass in my Maxima, a 17.079 @ 85.85mph, which BTW is more than a second slower than my 95 civic EX when it was stock, on 23lb 17" wheels. I'm soon opening a new chapter in my maxima's history, I'm going to be spraying soon I hope. More timeslips will come. I was just updating my timeslip spreadsheet and I thought it was interesting that I had almost 200 of them. Ok 4:45am it's time for bed. Sorry for the waste of a thread

I've had 7-10 runs...

talk about being bored .. sitting at work i took envelopes and put a track logo and the stats down and ran the envelopes through a color printer and have neat little packet type things to keep my timeslips in.

I have 40 passes

neal how you liking those wheels ? let me know when you put up some pics. i got 16's and was surprised how cool they looked, little donuts !

i liked them so much i thought about getting bigger ones, and then i looked at the prices of 17's and 18's and thought ...man thats sad, im to poor to buy 2,000 dollar rims.

we did find a place overseas that after currency conversion volk te37's in 17 inch were 950 us dollars.

sadly enough we could never get a response out of them. will try again

09.17.2001 was my first day at the track with it. I only went to the track 2 times after that during that year... so most of these are from like April 2002 to now.

It is still a stock clutch but not the original clutch that the car had in it when I bought it. I rebuilt my transmission the week before my first outing to the track (input shaft bearing failure) and then started going to the track on the new clutch.

I counted up all my slips and I've got 143 passes. First pass ever netted me a 15.581@90.79mph with a 2.452 60' in April of 2000. Mods at the time were a y-pipe, intake, muffler, and heavy 17s. It took me until April of 2001 to break into the 14s with a 14.9@93mph with a high 2.2 60' with the lighter 15s in the front. Late 01 netted me 14.7@95mph with higher 2.2 60'. In early 02 I got a 14.6@96mph with a low 2.3, and then in early 03 with the addition of a JWT ECU/MEVI, OEM bipe, and hacked airbox I got two 14.451s. One at 99.5mph with a 2.30 60' in 50 degree weather and one at 96.9mph with a 2.20 60' in 85 degree weather.

I'm still on the 7-year old stock clutch with 100500 miles too with no signs of slipping or dying. Neal, aren't you still on your stock clutch?

No. It's A stock clutch but not THE stock clutch that came in the car. This one has about 38k on it.

I have about 35 timeslips all from January 03 untill now. I recently broke into the 14s with a 14.8 just 3 weeks ago. And last wed I ran a 14.7. This was all with just intake/ypipe/stock 15s.

My first run ever with this car was a 15.9 @88. Intake/ypipe/17s, and most importantly, BAD KNOCK SENSOR. That damn thing drove me crazy for months. Then as soon as I changed it...bam 15.0 with the 17s.
