Maxima or 350Z, I cant do both......

Hey Guys, I'm thinking of trading in my 2K1 SE on a new car and I was wanting opinions. The Maxima is TOTALLY loaded with with the Elite package which includes everything else. I really like the back seat being split. It is just my wife and I and we are not expecting any kids. She has a 2K2 Passat so if we need a big car we can use hers. The other car is a 350Z Enthusiast Chrome silver with carbon cloth interior. It's also a 6 speed. I enjoy driving both ALOT. I want them both, but must choose, PLEASE HELP!!

I agree, go for the 350Z while you still can. You're in Columbia right? Is the Z your looking at located at D|CK Smith Nissan? Just curious...

If you don't need a back seat go for the 350Z. A good compromise would be the G35 coupe. A small back seat in case you need it and in my opinion a better looking car than the Z.

I would go for the G35 coupe, but definately the Z over the max (unless you want more room). Also like danz said try to trade the VW and keep the max (if the wife allows it)

if i were in your position I would get the Z - you're only young once, have some fun with the car! The maxima is great, but you've been down that road already. Go for somethin new

Get the Z or g35. God, I'd love either over a maxima - although the best advice in this thread is to trade in that passat

The only reason I have a Max is due to having a family. If it were just me and wifey, I'd be driving a Porsche C4, and she'd be in a C5 Corvette instead of a Suburban, but that's just us.

For the love of all things holy, if you are a driving enthusiast(sp?) and you must have a Nissan, get the Z or the G35!

The g35 sedan definitely fits that 22 year old girl idea. It's not aggressive enough looking. The 350z is cheaper than the g35 coupe, and it's faster. However, it's not an infiniti, and I've seen a couple of the coupes that look absolutely awesome. One that comes to mind is a blue one with dark wheels - not sure if they were factory wheels or not because the car didn't look changed, but one way or the other you knew it was a guy driving it

Well it looks like it's going to be the Z. I'm trying to get the numbers worked out right. Now I have to sell my stuff. There is going to be a Stillen FSTB and RSB up for grabs in the classifieds in case any one is interested. I also have a Catman Y-pipe SS that was polished when I got it about a year ago. The flex section is good. Any takers? Check the adds.

Any chance I could get you to consider the G35 Coupe? Out of the choices you listed though, my vote is 350z.

Edit: Whoops, I see you've already decided. I don't think you'll regret your choice!
