95-96/97-99 conversion-help, please asap :(

I have a customer who wants to do a conversion from 95/96 to 97-99. I have read numerous times but I need some help from the people who have done it. On the front, what all do you need to make a successful conversion besides the headlights, grill, and front bumper?

Thanks
Alex

you don't need new headlights. All you really need is the bumper, grill can be left and trimmed. If I were him I'd also get the bumper re-inforcement to make the bumper up to 97+ spec...

What do you mean by bumper re-inforcement? Replacement?

The thick metal bar behind the bumper, and all that stuff. It changed for '97, 95-96 are much less safe than '97+...

I'm not sure since I haven't done the conversion myself. I don't think it does, I think the bumper is connected to the fenders and maybe something else, look under the bumper of your car. The re-inforcement bolts up to the frame of the car...

Some people had to cut a part of the bumper so that it'll go in. I guess they had to do it because the re-inforcement things are different

Search for it. There are lots of threads like this:

NO...the bumper cover does not bolt to the reinforcement as there is a foam piece between them.
